I don't know why you would get bashed for the borla since just about all the exhausts are made in the US to begin with. Greddy, HKS, Tanabe, Stillen all made in the US.

^^I don't think it is the made in US thing that people have a problem with. It is the idea that the exhaust is made for American cars and/or muscle cars which is not Japanese cars are. I don't see a problem but I can see how others find it weird.

I hear ya, but some people just don't like the bigger cans on the more import based exhausts it's like you can't win. You don't want an american based exhaust like Borla, but you complain that the Greddy or HKS exhaust mufflers are too big and the ignorant consider it "ricey". There's no winning in my opinion lol.

you know, with these outrageous catback prices for the most part, this is really a good idea if you prefer the stock tips and don't really care about a couple of hp. 2 quality mufflers at $150/ea, weld them in the stock piping. call it a day.

I'd be interested to see someone try surgery on the stock can, reroute the flow/alter baffling. weld her back up.

not all exhausts are made in the US. I belive as soon as u start throwin the names like borla, flowmaster, magnaflow and those exhaust systems people start to think of muschle rather than import cars... and i did get bashed for askin bout the borla but o well shows them
