No way is it slower. did you reset your ecu when you did the intake. I didn;t reset mine at first maybe a little slower, once reset ecu all good.
its the olis on the filter causing slight hesitation.Any intake will loose power regardless what brand from the start & gain hp on top(look at every dyno for intake)
Everyone I know has had the same issue. Once its on the car, it is better than stock..Just on heat the stock rubber intake gets so hot you cant even touch it after u drive.
the stillen intake stays alot cooler, you can actaully touch.
I also had a check engine light so went back to stock for a few days.
turns out to be my HFC's threw a code p420.
So once I got the car back from the dealer I put back in.
It works for sure, just need other mods to help along.

stock intake flow is crap, it is not as great as u think my friend.
i roll with a very large group of g's.
we all have intakes(so so much for heat soak) you have no idea, have you even seen the intake?
duh thats why they have heat shields on them, so that point of heat soak is is mute.
any car runs like garbage when it hot & when you dog it.
take your car & beat on it for 30 min or so, car will not responds the same.

sorry your in FL. you guys have all the headaces with the intakes.

o

Read through the countless forums on here, the stock intake was designed very well which is why your seeing minimal gains with intakes. The heatshields are a joke/gimic that obviously arent shielding much heat. They do sound bad azz though....
