4hp.(FAIL) Wheres my other 10hp.You are reading this correctly. If you need to rub your eyes and reread. Go ahead rub them. I am so pissed right now you can't even imagine.I would like to know where gamedog got his numbers from because I don't have those freakin numbers. For the amount of money that I and everyone else spent this is ridiculous. I know I am the first to post these numbers up, but I doubt very much that anyone else is going to get any more hp than me. I don't know about everyone else but ya think we were lied to. I do. So its up to everyone else if they are putting there CAI's in. All I can say is GOOD LUCK.........and what a waste of money.

Baseline from Saturday Dyno : 299.50

Todays numbers:

First Pull: 295.40
Second Pull: 303.94
Third Pull:L 301.40

Here is the dyno if you guys don't want to believe me. I have such a headache right now I can't even think straight.

You used a baseline from another day to compair your results? Results vary daily due to alot of variables etc. Tempurature, humitity, etc. Also you can't stack horsepower gains from other mods done to the car. Each mod you do will give you certain gains but by adding another mod on top of that, you will not get the advertised gains.

Example: intake makes 14 RWHP and exhaust makes 12 RWHP if tested independently. Then you test them together and only get 16 RWHP...you dont get 26 RWHP because you cannot stack horsepower number.

Another Example: IF you first test an exhaust system and it makes 12 RWHP...then test the intake last and only gains 4 RWHP. IF you take that same scenario and test the intake first and the exhaust last...you are usually going to gain more horsepower with the first product tested.

I can vouch, David is a stand up guy... he has nothing to do with what the result is of the intakes... he just helped the community out by giving his car up... Kudos for that...

agreed 100%

the OP should know that with already a car pushing 300hp, intakes will not show a substantial gain

You should drive the car for about 1,000 miles before doing the dyno, the ECU needs to learn the mods. Reseting the ECU just takes it back to its stock settings, it needs to "learn" the mods.

Intakes give almost no power like I have said in other threads, they are just for noise.

+1000000000000000000000000

EPIC FAIL!!!

Unless everyone is planning on doing just an intake and no HFC or exhaust... I'd be wanting a refund.

Understood that she has other mods but I think she was expecting, and maybe for all the right reasons, to see a better gain than just 4whp when Injen is claiming 14whp on s stock G.

Wow, let's hope for those that bought the intake that it does produce a substantial amount of gain on stock setup. Then uh, don't mod anymore. Haha.

honelstly..can you guys really think with intakes, hfc's and exhaust the injen was gonna put out 14whp...maybe even 8whp

on my previous car i installed the Injen CAI and dynoed with a 9whp gain....6 months later installed header/exhaust and saw a TOTAL of 19 WHP...am i to believe headers/exhaust are showing a 10 whp gain...i doubt it

modding isnt just about bolting on mod after mod...its about fine tuning to find the right combo of mods that will yield the nicest improvement....obviously our stock intakes are pretty good as is...
