Fujitsubo Exhaust

Seems like this system is only offered in Japan but i guess eventually it will make it to the U.S. They are offered by NISSAN as a factory option but they are actually made by Fujitsubo. Any of you that tune imports will know thats the biggest and most respected name in Japan peroid. They make pretty everyone else's exhuast anyways so its strange they are not popular in the U.S. These are mufflers only so they will be signifcant gains. The tubing is slighly bigger but wont make much of a difference.

i got it cause its IMO is the nicest looking muffler. I am in the auto parts manufacturing business and you can really appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into it. The biggest restiction in our cars is the y-pipe and the cat. I gots berks HFC already and we'll make our own titanium y-pipes and mid pipes here. Btw, i will really like to see exhaust depots y- pipe torque curves cause it looks like it will lose quite a bit especially for 5-spd auto.

i had to order my from my japanese customer cause its not offered here ( i live in taiwan now) . it fitted right on without any modifications and i think we have the USDM here so any of you interested should not have any problems.

Sorry i dont know how to post vids. This exhaust sounds really really good. its a pure N.A sound. You can tell Nissan wanted to keep it low below 3k. Not deep but rather screamy espeically pass 5 k. Here are pics:

Fujitsubo is one of the best exhausts for the G35 IMO, I'm sure it will be a great exhaust for the 37.

Fujitsubo makes the NISMO exhaust for the 350z too, so I'm also not suprised they offer it as a factory option for the G37 in Japan.

What was the price for the axleback that you have, also would you be interested in shipping one to the US?

Agreed, it always sounded the best, power gains aside. If I remember corectly it was a bit pricey, well over $3k if not more. I'm sure they'd be happy to ship it to the States if you wanted to deal with all the fees.

yea.. unfortunately japanese stuff will get more and more expensive due to the strong exhange rate against the U.S dollar. I paid around 1,200 USD including sea frieght to Taiwan. So its by no means cheap or great value. But take a closer look at the muffler and listen to the sound made me feel its all worth it..

I will try to post vids soon.

I had a fujitsubo exhaust on my 03.5 G35 Sedan and loved it. They definitely make quality parts.

I am not affiliated with fuji in anyways but i must say HP gains is never an issue with fuji exhaust. If thats the case they wont be where they are right now. If you know fuji's product line well they have a wide range of series that offer different needs. From full race to something nearly OEM.

Quite frankly, its not that hard to make an exhuast that will make 10 or 20 HP on the top end. Borla is a nice system but i will love to see the tq curve on that thing. Many of us are 5 spd autos here so thats another thing to consider when choseing your exhaust.
