BERK HFC's dyno tested!!!

First things first...

Huge thanks to Vince at RTtuning for a flawless and quick install...I was shopping around for tuner shops in the PA area and came across some info about the work at RTtuning...They are located in Lansdale, PA and they were awesome from start to finish...Anyone who needs work done in the PA area should really contact these guys and get the excellent customer service and work that I got...

On to the HFC's...

Sound: Everything on the car is stock...The only change was the Berk HFC's and I'll be damned if I add ANY aftermarket exhaust after driving home to the new sound of my G...Absolutely incredible...While cruising there is next to no difference in exhaust note...No drone at all...Give her some gas and it sounds like your unleashing an absolute monster...Puts my G35 coupe exhaust to shame...Very aggressive sound that is rather intoxicating...Anyone who is looking into buying an $1100 exhaust just to get a sweeter sound should really consider these HFC's for half the price...When you rev it in idle the car is LOUD...But under load at full throttle its load, but nothing bothersome...Again, very MEAN sounding and just incredible IMO...

Performance: Unfortunately it rained all day today...So the roads were slick when I left the shop which didn't allow me to make any hard pulls through all RPM's...However, I did hit it many times in 3rd and 4th gear and definately felt an increase in power...The dyno shows a good gain in HP and TQ in the middle RPM range around 4.5-5.5k rpms...I have to take a better look at the dyno because I only quickly looked at the shop...

At peak HP we saw gains of around 9whp and 9lbs tq...There are sections in the middle RPM range where 10-15 hp and tq are gained if I remember correctly...I'm having trouble posting the dynos...Can anyone post them if I send them via email? Any questions, just ask...

I threw out the dyno sheets that showed 20 plus HP differences in the middle RPM's because the VVT clearly was playing games with those...These were the two closest before and after tests in terms of how the HP and TQ curves reacted... Hope this works..

You want all 4 runs? Ok....Also Vince suggested that he'd expect a bit more out of this setup with a battery reset so the ECU can learn everything with the HFC's from the get go...
