I heard a G on the dyno w/ just HFC's, sounded great in person.

Thanks for the input. I heard a video on youtube which sounded great, even on my sh*tty laptop speakers, but its good to know it sounds great in person.

I like the idea of the HFCs because you have a moderate power increase and great sound, without ripping out the stock exhaust. Great for leasee's like me, who don't wanna dissect the car just to put it back to together in a year or so...

This is how my G is right now. Sounds great with stock muffler but still want to get FI or Borla....

Just did this to my G tonight. First I just unbolted the muffler from the exhaust pipes, slid the muffler assembly back on the hangers and took it for a spin. I LOVE the sound. Nice and quiet until revs are around 3.5k - 4k and when you go WOT. Haven't had a chance to really assess low-end torque, yet, but will tomorrow. I honestly don't think I will lose much (if any) because I still have the stock cats on. I think those will create enough back pressure on their own. We'll see. I'll also try to do some video and post the clips soon. Looks a little ghetto right now because there are no exhaust tips sticking out the back, but I'll get that taken care of on Monday.
