They have nothing to do with the exhaust though. They monitor my A/F ratio with the intake. It's like they tripped because of the increased flow or something. I havn't put on the Fujita COA yet either, I'm currently stock when it comes to intake. The guy erased the codes from my cpu and I drove to school and back hard as hell, frequent ***** out accelerating, and I took it on the freeway again floored. No codes for now. maybe they just tripped right after the install and now they are used to the increase flow??? This might explain the "pending" reading given after the code. I guess I'll just have to wait to see if they trip again. Damn!

at WOT it sounds very aggresive but not crazy loud. very race inspired. at cruising speeds it's not noticable at all, very quiet. The most noticable difference is at semi aggresive throttle, when the tranny doesn't quite know if it should shift or keep RPM's up, so the car says at like 3 to 4 grand RPM. Thats when it's loudest. once it shifts it is quiet.

Those two codes you pulled were due to the primary wide band O2 sensors in the header. Hopefully they don't trip the SES again, but if they continue to come on, the sensors were damaged during the install........

its pretty hard to break an o2 sensor. try an o2 sesnsor mechanical fix http://images.google.com/imgres?imgu...%3D2%26hl%3Den

S.E.S. tripped again today. Gonna get the codes read to make sure they are the same, and call the shop that did the install tomorrow and see if we can work something out for fixing the sensors. This sucks!

It's very easy to break the sensors on the HR motor. The filament is fragile enough that impact tools will break them.
The codes that are coming up are unrelated to the HFC's or the O2 sensors inside the HFC's. They are both related to the primary wide band O2 sensors in the header, which were damaged during the install most likely due to impact tools.

But get them scanned again and let us know the result. I'm 99% sure at this point those guys busted the O2 sensors in the header. Hopefully they are a reputable shop and will take care of it.

Called dealership to get a quick quote on price of the sensors..... $392.98 a piece I need a beer quick!
The codes were read again and it showed P2A03 but not P2A00. I suspect the drivers side A/F sensor just hasn't tripped yet. Can just the passenger sensor be bad? I don't think I would have got the original 2 codes if just 1 sensor was bad.

man do we run the same risk of fvckin up these sensors on an exhaust install or is it more so with HFC installs? i think im gonna watch my exhaust be installed in the shop and make sure they are mad careful...

HFC and header installs, yes. Exhaust shouldn't be a problem.

So the shop swears they took the sensors out and were very careful. They claim it is the HFC's and/or stillen cat-back causing the codes. I got them to agree to diagnose the sensors and test them on Monday to see if they are right. What they don't understand is if the increased flow was messing with my a/f ratio, that wouldn't cause the sensor to not perform properly!!! Idiots! They better pay to fix this problem or work out a deal. Plus they had the audacity to suggest I wait to test/mess with the sensors until my Stillen headers get here next week and they can install them! Like I'm gonna have them install my headers after this for one, and two that is salt in the wound if they won't pay up and I have to shell out 800 bucks for 2 sensors! AHHH!!!
Here comes small claims court........
