That can't be flywheel HP. He didn't do an engine dyno did he? I'm pretty sure thats at the wheels, I'll have to check the vid and see if it shows him on a chassis dyno.

the gains are at the wheels. Don't look at the overall numbers, just look in the change between numbers.

If he dyno'd 270whp, he'd gain 20whp and be at 290whp or whatever...

OK good. The top of the first pick on the screen says "flywheel", thats why I thought that.

I understand. I agree that the gains are very good. I'm not wondering because of the gains, I'm just wondering what dyno would rate a stock G37 at ~300hp to the wheels...

chuch's uses a dynapck..it runs on the hubs not on rollers...great for consistency...i see 16 hp peak to the hub...not bad for from hi flow cats and the FI exhaust...headers and a tune would be great.

Thats the key to unlocking a lot of untapped power. If anyone could crack it under $3k. We'd all be set haha

WOW those were some nice gains.

You never hang out below 3K anyway. Almost as soon as you are on the gas you are at 3K.

What is the rule for % loss from flywheel HP to WHP? Just curious as to what he would tell the "average" person on his total HP setup...Lord knows that 90% of the people I talk to have NO IDEA what I mean by wheel horsepower and the importance of that number over flywheel...

yeah, peoples opinions differ, but general rule is you lose anywhere from about 13-18 percent of the flywheel HP at the wheels

Thats flywheel numbers not WHP, Dynapack dynos always read flywheel HP unless you adjust the TCF, this TCF is at 1.00 meaning no correction was applied for drivetrain loss.
