Ok gamedog and whoever else got this installed, did anyone take pics of where the filters are located? It was said a while back that a pic would be taking of were it is located and the pic would probably be with the front bumper off. I have not seen this yet. Was it ever posted? I would bet that there would be some more people buying this if they could just get a visual of were it is located. I know that is what I am waiting for and maybe an independent dyno. So if anyone can get some pics please post them. I would think Injen might have took some pics especially since they took pics of the 350Z setup.

I'm sorry to say, but they will not sell many at that price, unless they can show 50whp gains.
Dude, It's only $51.79 per pony gained, if their claims prove true on a dyno, and you paid MSRP. Compared to $500 HFC's gaining 9hp, thats $55.50 per pony. This is a wise investment, considering they arn't even $725. You would only be spending like $40 per hp gained if you jump on the group buy (if price of group buy is around $550) I'm not gonna pay up for them, but the price isn't the cause of my decision. I don't wanna hassle with the install... removing the bumper

For the record, the owner of the 350Z (James) was the one taking pictures of Byron during the install process, not Injen. I was there at the time so I should know

1) Its just an intake. There shouldn't be ANY reason for the price except that we are owners of a luxury/performace vehicle. Everything gets jacked up with this car. Price IS the cause of my decision.

2) Its just a bumper. Its not hard AT ALL to take it off.

Since the posts in the vendor thread are being deleted...

Lou, can you please clarify how AMThotMods with a 25 person group buy can offer a price that is cheaper than what you can do for a 40 person group buy?

^ My bad on posting the price - I guess that was a bad ju-ju and I didn't know.

Anyways, I still have minor worries about hydrolocking, and I wasn't planning on modding the car yet, but I think I'm going to get it. Can't wait to see the 3rd party dynos!
