The intakes look nice; I would like to get one fa sho. But guy seriously Hydro locking ain't no joke. Some times it rains really hard here in Miami and the streets do get flooded, so I used to have a NX2000 w/ a CIA that I lent to my GF one day. Well that day it freaking poured and guess what? She drove the car in to some below knee water. It was terrible and the engine had to be replaced. But now we know to never ever ever run the car thru flooded streets. I have had CAI on a dropped 240 sx and on a 350z w/ no problems. If it rains too hard I just park the bitch.
The real question is when are this puppys going to be for sale to the public?

So I have to ask, does the kit come with new grilles for the fake brake coolers to actually make them useful??? That would be killer...

There's def. a good chance you won't have an issue w. a true CAI and hydrolock but it's the risk factor. I'd be super pissed if I had to fork out 10k out of pocket because I wanted an extra (claimed ) 10hp.

It deff rains pretty bad here in florida, and g-d forbid, a freakin hurricaine, but yeh i would be be alittle scared about the intake on the ground. My buddy did have the Injen intake for his TL and it freakin rocked, sounded awesome and he never had a problem with the rain or puddles. Cant wait and deff want one if its under 400.

Probably not, but last I heard, Injen was trying to work with Amplified Motorsport on conducting the group buy. No MSRP yet though, since the R&D guys that gamedog deals with have no say in that stuff since it's handled by the office across the street.

Yup. I was just at amplified today, and Lou told me he should have the first group buy. So have your deposits ready peoples.

It was pretty funny today, I knew that gamedog was on his way to the shop and I wanted to see the intakes, and as I left the shop, getting close to the entrance to the freeway I see him pass me going towards amplified, but I wasn't for sure that it was him, and then I was already stuck in traffic as Lou called me to tell me that he just got there.

It's cool though, I really did wanna turn around tough so I could hear them. Haven't got 'em on yet, I just purchased them today. Gotta go back to the shop Monday morning for the install. I sure will enjoy them though .

BTW, how's the ride so far on the springs? Have you gotten an alignment already? and have they settled?
