I had some e-cutouts on my truck but never on a car. They work great for performance when you want to bypass the exhaust system.

It is a type of butterfly valve that you can open, either by cable or electronic motor. You install it inline with the exhaust and it has a direct exit right after the cat. No muffler and really load.

Exactly! Good explanation. When I bought mine for the truck, I got them from www.dmhperformance.com

Dave is great to deal with and if you have any problems (doubtful), he will mail you brand new ones!

I had them running before each cat after I put longtube headers on.....then I just got greedy and ran nothing by longtube headers.....so my neighbors were pretty happy when I traded it in for the G37.
