Fast Intentions Intimidator Exhaust & HFCs (My initial thoughts & review)
#31
Does anyone else get a raspy sound from their stock exhaust when flooring it from about? I hear it get really raspy like some cheap **** exhaust from about 4k-6.5krpm. I don't have the exhaust rattle a lot of people have had and got replaced, but my exhaust, imo, sounds like a cheap piece of ****. Anyone else notice that?

I just got my FI exhaust and HFC installed this past weekend from Tony and company and I was going to write up an elaborate review but cant sum it up any better than Mike already has in this thread...
So I will share my general thoughts:
I drove down to Northridge on friday and it took about 2 hrs to install. Balancing the mufflers and re-adjsting the hangar is what took the longest, everything else went as smoothly as possible...just as mike mentioned they had to break 2 of the bolts on the HFCs because they are torqued on so hard....
The sweetest sound was upon startup! god damn, I bust a nut when Tony first started it up....i drove down with my gf and she was not happy with that
but if there is one thing I want to emphasize is that videos do not do this justice at all...going in I thought that Mike's youtube videos sound really awesome, and it couldnt get any better, but when you hear it in person, its ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS, i didnt know it was possible, but it sounded 100x better than it did in the video....
aside from that, I ripped it all the way up 101 from LA to San Jose for 6 str8 hours, and had the time of my life...absolutely no complaints whatsoever
for those of you that have ordered it already, when you hear that first startup, you'll realize that it was worth the wait!
and those who have not ordered it or are on the fence...by ALL MEANS, jump on it! This is a GREAT PRODUCT and AWESOME crew that puts it together, they really know their ****, and it sounds like "sex on wheels"
holla!
