Does anyone know where to get the TSB of if there is like an "infiniti TSB" depository. My exhaust was doing it and after me telling them like 3 times, because each time they could not "recreate the sound", they changed my muffler. The noise is back again. They told me the reason the noise was there was because the mounting bracket was loose???
This is frustrating because they don't want to fix it and I'm 19 so they won't give me a rental car, even though I purchased a new car from them by myself. That should be a good case of age-discrimination....if it only existed

that's funny, I forgot that I had a rattle on cold start and brought my car in for an oil change....service guy heard it start up and told me he was going to replace the muffler and that it was a known issue. Funny, I always thought they were a bit short sighted here but I guess they did me right.

Oxnard service replaced my muffler with only 10K miles on it. Original was getting a bit more rattle as time went on. My video below was done at 4K miles, at cold start, which just did not seem right even then.
YouTube - 090301 2008 G37 factory noisy exhaust sound on startup 1400rpm
Finally got a new bigger Infiniti battery 700CCA after several Infiniti customer service calls, and the driver's seat leather is on order to get rid of the bubble. Lots of warranty work it seems, and the battery was / (still will be?) the longest issue.

Just bought a 2008 G37 sport a couple of days ago, noticed a rattling coming from my muffler/exhaust as well, except it sounds MUCH worse than some of the other videos I've seen documenting the problem...

That is encouraging to me... Mine has 11K on it and i started it at a golf club
and was just talking how great the car is with a bunch of BMW dudes, then I started it in front of them and they heard that metal buzzing sound.
Did the muff replacement get rid of the sound...

ONLY 1 PROBLEM... The new muffler they put on, the left tip was about 1" lower
than the right... I told the service manager, most people would not care, but I'm
detail freak, and it will bother me... He said, NP, that was the last we had in stock,
I'll order another, should be here by Thurs, will call you when it comes in and we'll replace.
I was like... Really? That is so cool... The Tech even said to me, dude its gotta be right,
Tech said, I'm particular about my car and that would bother me too. So, I'm happy, just
hope the new one is right. New Muffler sounds quieter??? Just me or they doing soemthing different?

Muffler Rattle
Hey guys, I'm pretty sure I've got the infamous muffler rattle too. Here is a clip...
YouTube - - G37S rattle
I took my car into the dealership yesterday and was told that since I had an aftermarket exhaust (Invidia Gemini), they wouldn't replace anything.
Can anyone confirm whether it sounds like the TSB Muffler Rattle, and if so, should it be void because of my catback exhaust? I appreciate the help. I'd hate for the dealership to pull a fast one on me.
