^^ i wouldnt say that. i know many are going to mod the krap out of it and continue to mod it for years to come. not all like to switch every 3-4 years
maybe I just switch cars alot, I hate having old things thats why I shook my 07 G35, the G35's old news now.... only thing I've held on to is my cayenne turbo, but thats a whole different story.
yea i will have my car in 3-4 years... by then i will probably have spent over 60,000 in parts... I will just buy another project car but keep my G as well
I dunno I guess 4-7 years is along time in the aftermarket world... by that time your 60k into it won't even really raise an eyebrow, even at shows now their are top dollar 2003 G35 coupes, but I personally wouldn't waste much time looking at them, I'd be more eager to see the G37's and the new look, thats just me though to each his own.
yeah i think its something like 4-7 years in Ca. most of us probably wont even have our G's by the time it's due.
For you guys in CA, you don't have to SMOG for the first 6 years. So for every year with your car registration, you pay what the DMV calls a "smog abatement fee". It's a tax that the state collects from you just so you don't have to smog. Just another way for them to collect more money.....
But if you get caught in CA with test pipes on public roads, you're going to need some lube. It's about $1500.
