This is my first manual car, which I got it a month ago. After a month of inconsistent of shifting smoothly, I thought it was me just sucking at it until my friend let me drove his wrx today... The clutch in the G is like having a bipolar girlfriend... Anyone in socal can help me with this mod?

^^Bipolar gf... that's great!!!
Folks, a brief comment on shipping addresses. When remitting payment, make absolutely sure the correct ship to address is on file with your paypal account (unless sending payment as a gift). If your address is outdated, update your paypal account first. This ensures everyone's safety.
I recently had a customer who had his wallet stolen. Rather than confirming each individual charge as legit or not, he claimed all charges were fraudulent and disputed them. His chargeback got thrown out because I shipped to the proper address. It was a hassle though and took a good 2 months to resolve.

So I installed my spring. It makes the clutch MUCH more manageable. I no longer have difficulty shifting into 2nd gear smoothly.
The clutch is a little harder to push - in a good way. It took me ten minutes to get used to it.
I took my car for an oil change this weekend. I had recently installed a dashcam (Blueskysea – a sweet cam for cheap from Amazon).
When I picked up my car I reviewed the dashcam video to make sure that no shenanigans went on at the dealer. What a trip! Listen to the lot boy’s comments when he drives my car around the lot – he's obviously used to the Infinity "no effort clutch".

I got mine delivered today and I installed it right after work. I didn't need zip ties and it took about 7-8 minutes to complete. I had a friend standing by, but I was able to use my right hand to do the handiwork while my left pressed the pedal down. I am below novice level when it comes to mechanical installs, but this was an incredibly easy install.
As far as the driving impressions... WOW!
I am still getting used to the shift action, but I feel like my clutch is talking to me again. The effort is pleasant and solid when pressing the clutch and you can actually tell what the car is doing. I can feel the difference most when rolling from a dead stop and then again when shifting from 1-2. I feel like it is a regular car and I feel like a person should feel after driving only stick shift cars for 13+ years.
It's amazing that such a small thing can have such a large impact. I loathed the clutch and feel of my 04 6MT coupe... it is largely what got me into this car. This car has always been much better than the G35 clutch wise, but I hadn't fallen in love for the 15ish months I have had the car. I think that I might really enjoy this more.
If you are on the fence- go ahead and scoop this up. I can think of less fruitful things you can do to blow $20 away. This is inexpensive and makes a huge difference in the way the car drives.
