^ yeah, I'll make the trip with you, I've never been up to Canada before! They were given the state of MN from us a while ago right? Do I need a passport now or will a valid ID still work?
Sorry for the off topic b.s. OP! Free bump!
Honestly, everyone with a 6MT should pick this up to at least try it! 100% worth it IMO with a better feel...and its only $15!!! If you don't like it, switch back and re-gift it to someone!

Just got a G37 last week. Was going to buy one of these, but the transmission was shot from the day I got my car. So I bitched, they replaced the trans, and now my clutch feels completely different! The pickup for engagement is all the way at the bottom now, instead of the top like what is described in this forum (and what I was feeling on the old trans).
So, free bump (since now I don't need this), thanks for doing this, and if my engagement point somehow floats back to the top, I'll return here hoping you still have some! I'm thinking that since I had an 08, the replacement trans is an updated version.

So does this spring increase/decrease the life of the stock clutch? Are there any long-term effects for this mod?
Also, would the dealer notice this mod since it is missing the yellow paint coating of the stock spring? For example, if the clutch slave cylinder were to go out (seems to be somewhat common on 6mt cars), could the dealer deny replacing the CSC b/c of the spring mod?

Since you're slipping it less when you get going, I would expect clutch life to be extended. I haven't read of any negative long term effects. There's posts on the 370z site going back to 2010 if not earlier. If there were any, i'm sure we would of heard about it by now.
That yellow coating seems to only be on one side of the stock spring. You'd want to reinstall the stock spring before bringing it in for anything trans related just to be on the safe side and not give them any reason to deny the claim. I keep mine in the glove box. Takes less than 30 seconds to swap 'em out with a pair of needle nose pliers.
