San Diego to Yellowstone

Just got back from an 8-day road trip, San Diego to Yellowstone. About 56 hours of driving and 2800 miles. No car problems, never saw another G37, and lots of admiring looks.

Wow. Nice long drive! No 37s across 2800 miles. Geez... Are people buying these things and not driving them?

OMG - I forgot the most important part--I averaged an honest 25 mpg for the entire trip. That included a lot of ICC at 75 mph, lots of country roads, and very little city.

Nice! How were the seats during such a long trip?

Interesting you should ask, people haven't complained about the seats on this forum for a long time and I wondered if Infiniti has modified them since I bought mine last November. So, to your question. I get a lower backache in most car seats and I always put a small bolster in the crease between the seat and the back. Also, I find that the lumber support is a little higher than I want. On the trip home, I added a rolled up tank top at my lower back and had 20 hours of comfortable driving over the two-day drive (including a stopover at Zion National Park).

Great, glad to hear they worked well

I like them just fine as well, but haven't had that many hours in a row in them yet.
