Metal clinking sound

Anyone hearing a metallic clinking sound when they drive??? it's a hard to describe sound but makes me think of something like the weights used when balancing the wheel being loose and hitting the wheel.

i can only hear it with the music off and windows down... maybe it's suspension breaking in???

it's definetly coming from outside the car...

i've heard it while driving and while tapping the gas real quick while in neutral... maybe it's something with the valves lifting (VVEL related)???

I heard the same noise when I just purchased my o6 G35 coupe. Is it a clanking kind of noise coming from one of the front wheels. Mine was coming from the front right wheel. So I took it in and had them tighten one of the bolts. But it wasnt nothing damaging or serious but take it to the dealer and they will tighten the bolt. takes like only 10 mins.

No noises here. It's amazing how rattle free this car is so far. We shall see as I rack up the miles.

is it a recurring sound, like a few times a second or something? it's been too hot to ride with the windows down, but i'll try it when i leave work in an hour. hope i don't hear it!
