Please help alternator
I’ve had my 2011 g37xs sedan for about 5 years and it now has 140K. I have replaced my alternator twice and it seems that it has broken again. Any ideas as to what is causing the alternator’s to fry so fast. The most recent one to break was only installed about 6 months ago. Anything helps thank you so much

Maybe ask the shop what their opinion is on it? I’d say you have a weak battery that’s causing the alternator to overwork itself until dead, or maybe a ground issue somewhere so the alternator is overcharging because of a inaccurate voltage reference, but that’s pretty unlikely if everything else is working.

What symptoms led you/ your mechanic to determine the alternator was "fried?" Not once, not twice, but three times, now?
Are there any modifications to the car? Aftermarket audio, for example? Grounding kit? Is the battery correct for your car? Any codes?
Alternators rarely go bad. For you to have three (3) failures, something else is going on with your cars electrics.
