Rain water leaking into cabin
Hello everyone, I'm a proud owner of a 2012 g37x sedan. I want to know if anyone dealt with rain water leaking into the car at the passenger side. I've attached a picture. Any help is helpful, thank you everyone.
The leak is at the far right from above.

Very likely a clogged sunroof drain. There's a DIY vid in this thread:

Good to fix that asap because you don't want the electronics modules in that area to get wet!

On the Coupe, the drain grommets are directly behind the vents. I would imagine the same is true for the sedan as well. I will warn you, they are a REAL B¡TCH to get to. My bloodied fingers can attest to that.
I'm battling a minor water issue but thankfully it is not the sunroof drain... though I will likely reroute the passenger side drain through the floor while I have everything torn apart- as a preventive measure...

Sounds like you're figuring it out but if you look here:
https://www.nicoclub.com/infiniti-service-manuals
Click on G35/G37/Q50, scroll down and click G37, then Sedan, then 2012. There you will find all of your factory service manuals in pdf form. "Roof" shows the sunroof for example, but not much detail about the drain routing. As you select a book (like Roof) it displays in a window, but below that window is a "click to download" which I recommend for ease of viewing and navigating. Grab as many as you can, very handy, with thanks to the NICO club for hosting.

Oh man, I'd hate to see you drilling through your floorboard... There are good reasons why that hose passes through the firewall before draining out below.
Wait for some better suggestions from people here who have fixed theirs.

I'm currently working on it. I have also sealed the sunroof from outside in case of a rain. What I have in my mind as a solution is to attach a rubber tube from right where the drain tube meets the suction like thing. Grommet or whatever that is. I will then guide it along the wiring and all the plastic pieces down to the floorboard. However I don't know where to drill on the floorboard. I really need some inputs on this. Thank you all
Sunroof Floor Drain
This is the likely path I'm going to take even though my sunroof drains are still intact.

Just tap the drain tube to the AC evaporator drain that goes through the floor:

so I guess I need to extend the drain tube all the way down then drill and fix it into the ac pipe ? In that case do I deal the grommet with silicon?

All you need is a plastic "T" fitting, tubing, and some zip ties to clamp the tubing. You will cut the black tube that's on the floor (the AC Evaporator drain hose), insert the "T" fitting, insert the tube from the sunroof drain, clamp everything down, and be done.
I would only add silicone to the black tubing that goes through the grommet in the floor.

THERE IS NO DRILLING INVOLVED! Why make more work and potential aggravation for yourself? There is already a drain tube/hole in the floor. Use that one, don't make another.
