Intelligent key warning light and steering wheel lock

Greetings, the intelligent key light comes on while the engine is stopped, and it is impossible to free the steering lock and to start the engine. I am able to unlock/lock the car with Fob, lights and everything else works. I see only intelligent light indicator light and security light is on in my dashboard.

Classic case. Steering lock failure.
Hit the mechanism with a hammer to unlock steering when. With car in acc mode pull the fuse so itll never engage again leaving you stranded. Fuse located under hood near battery.

What do you mean by hit the mechanism by hammer?

I wonder if other car manufacturers have this epic fail design, that you cannot start your car if the steering lock module is shot.

Good luck OP. I don't personally know a workaround unless the module is replaced at this point.

This is also a good lesson for those who hasn't been hit with this, do that fuse pull trick ASAP.
