There's a big thread with lots of information by many people driving in various locations and conditions regarding used oil analysis. What you'll find from people using any quality synthetic oil is that the 7500 mile oil change interval that Infiniti recommends is well within the bounds of safety for your engine. Since you don't drive that many miles each year, change it annually. That's only about 4800 miles or so. If you're concerned, send a sample off after that first change and get it analyzed and also a a TBN. The TBN is an indicator of how much "useful life" is left in the oil after it's been used. It will tell you if your oil was still doing its job well when you changed it or if you left it in too long. Various guesses are just that - guesses.

Every 6000kms (3750mi) or sooner for me.
Working at a dealership makes this much easier and cheaper than for some, but IMO you change the oil when its recommended by the manufacturer. I'm not an engineer so I'm in no place to say if something other than what they say is ok.

I'd say every 3k-5k miles or every 6 months.
