SES light on= No inspection

i recently got the SES light along with Vdc and slip lights coming on. i get the code p0345( camshaft position sensor A malfunction bank 2). from what i understand there are two, 1 for bank 1 and the other for bank 2. I'm not familiar with using a ohms reader but both basically have the same values. i don't know what values I'm supposed to have (if you can help). i figured i can swap them put them in and erased lights and did another test drive. the light came back on for bank 2. also when car was shifting it was jerking between some gears (cause of cam sensor??). any suggestions would be appreciated.

since you swapped sensors bank 1 to bank 2 and the same fault code comes back that indicates there is no problem with the sensor. first check the electrical harness and connector and check for possible rodent damage on wiring harness. if wiring harness integrity is not compromised you would now need to tear off the valve cover and possible the upper timing cover to inspect the cam sprocket itself for further diagnosis.

thank you,

would that also be a cause of the jerking in shifting from gears? i will try to see if wires are loose or eaten into.
