09 sedan front end collision

Can anyone give an estimate of the damage from my wreck? See pics attached. Also, if it's only cosmetic damage and not totaled, any suggestions for hood, bumper, light, and fender upgrades?

Someone turned in front of me and I couldn't stop. The collision was at about 35mph, and the car still drove following the accident but the fender was rubbing against the wheel and the car was towed. the hood also pushed the driver side fender out of place. The passenger door was damaged on the leading edge by the fender.

Sorry to hear about this. Hopefully there's into any frame damage. I have a bumper for a 2010+ Sedan if your interested in doing the conversion. The bumper is kh3 already.

How much fabrication would have to go into the conversion?

Based on what I see and what you describe, I'm going to say $6500, give or take $500. Best of luck.

I just received the estimate and the total is 6509.82! The adjuster seems to think it is all panel damage with no frame damage. I am getting a local shop to look at it to make sure there isn't any worse damage underneath to the frame. I also think they missed the wheel since the tire was rubbing pretty hard on the fender and the rim was scraped from the collision. Nice estimate GAWD!

Update*

There were a few issues not noticed by the adjuster, both headlights were damaged, the driver side had a Crack at the mounting screw from the upper cover pushing against it. Also the air box on the passenger side was damaged. The fender and bumper cover are only offered by Infiniti so that brought up the price. The new total is at 9200 so far, and I should be getting my car back in 2 to 3 days from now. Also taking the opportunity to install a carbon fiber hood.

Thanks for the update. Curious where you live? $9200 would be in total loss territory in my state (Okla) for a 2009, in Iowa it'd certainly be totaled.

OEM Infiniti headlamps come 'fully loaded' with new ballasts and bulbs and as far as I know there is no aftermarket for these. Its worth keeping your smashed ones. Good call on the CF hood.

I live in Lafayette Louisiana. Total loss here is 75% of the vehicles book value. The hood fit great, and looks amazing. I did keep both headlights even the one that is completely demolished. I can post pictures with the hood, and custom grill emblem delete although the grill does not have the finishing paint job. The new headlights are significantly brighter, I am blaming that to light loss factor, although my original headlights were in great condition.
