Engine bay still hot after 3hrs of sitting

Engine bay still hot after 3hrs of sitting
Wondering if anyone else has noticed how long the engine takes to cool down to the touch. Just thought it was wierd to be hot after 3 hrs and its cold outside.

The engine runs hot as is, the hood liner insulates and the block holds heat. Mine does the same

Yes, plus there is all that hot coolant in the cylinder walls and the radiator. It is normal for it to take a while to cool down.
