Burning smell in interior;car has been parked
My 2008 G37S had been parked in my garage for around 3 weeks. When I tried to start it, the battery was dead (not too surprising for it being parked). We jumped it off and it has started fine thereafter. However, it has a strange burning smell in the interior of the car. I have searched other threads and couldn't find an answer. I looked to see if something was stuck to my exhaust but there's not. It's not the clutch.
Please help! I haven't been driving it in case it's something bad. Had my dad smell it; doesn't smell like anything typical (oil, transmission).

could be multiple things like condensation burning off in your exhaust or you had a small critter make your car its home during the 3 weeks, or you had a piece of plastic get stuck to your exhaust and it is burning off. start the car and do a visual check for smoke or try to determine what area the smell is coming from. if you cant find it, and there are no warning lights popping up after you warm it up take it out for a spin and air the car out.

UPDATE:
Tried to start the car yesterday to do what godzilla619 said... car won't start. Battery seems to be dead again. Car was last started last Monday, so in 5 days, battery died. This leads me to believe something is running while the car is off... maybe therefore causing this smell?

There is a TSB for 2008 and 2009 for battery drain problems for cars that sit for a several days and the battery dies. See the thread about it in the forums here.
That could be your problem as well as a dead cell in your battery.

Update:
Took the battery to Advance Auto Parts and got them to check it; bad battery. Got a new battery, put it in car, and drove to Infiniti.
There was a TSB on the problem and they reprogrammed the ECM and now battery has not died since.
Turns out my radiator hose was leaking, causing the smell.
All is fixed now!
