traveling with loaner car

Hey guys, quick question. When you take your car to get serviced if you need a vehicle they provide you with a free infiniti loaner car. My question is I need to drop my car off to get serviced and I also need to take a trip over this MDW weekend about 275 miles away. Is there any restriction on miles etc, or is just bring it back with the same amount of gas? Thanks for your time.

IMHO, the best people to ask this question to are the dealers/service dpt. as it may vary from dealer to dealer.

That said, in the past when I have been given a loaner Infiniti, I have not been told to stay local, nor did I read anywhere in the paperwork that I was given telling me I couldn't.

Ask. Some will make you pay mileage over a certain amount. You need to get full details from your dealership.

Thats not bad, my dealer has never let me keep the loaner over the weekend.
They always schedule or time it so that loaners have to be brought back on Friday.

I asked my dealer. They said no more than 100 miles a day when my car needed warranty work.
Dealer would be the person to give you the correct answer

I've never seen the written policy but the particulars as they were explained to me is the loaner can be held for as long as your car is in for service. If you hold it longer, there is a set fee per day they will charge you. The loaner only applies for service items and not regular maintenance (oil change, tire rotation, etc) I drive about 150 miles a day back and forth to work so either my dealer has been very gracious or the mileage isn't that big a deal. When you think about it, those loaner cars are some of the best selling tools the dealer could have. Ever loaner I've had was a loaded vehicle. A veritable showcase of the newest and best G's they have to offer.

Every time I've had a loaner nothing was ever said about miles while my car was in service. They give you 24 hrs after service is complete and you are notified. Then they may charge you. Just to be safe and you don't get broad sided I would check with dealer. They all seem to have there own rules. Some more generous than others. Have a safe trip!
