Popping/jumping from driveline when first turning in wet/cold weather

Me, yes. But my car makes the noise on flat and inclined surfaces alike. The triggers are always temperature below about 35 and having the steering wheel turned to, or very near, the outer locked positions - left or right.

I know exactly what you guys are talking about... I'm in NJ and this happens every morning when it is cold (including this morning). I dont think its the tires, but then again, i have no idea what else it could be... If you hear any update on this, I'd be very interested as well.

Just to add, I'm not on an inclined driveway. The car is always garaged at home. The issue happens most often if I leave the car parked at work all day on a very cold day (8-5) and reveals itself when leaving the parking lot. However, on very cold days where the temp can permeate the garage, I'll get it happening when backing out of the driveway (again, flat).
I will report back next winter since I don't think we'll see another ~20F day til then.

John B., I have the same problem in my 09 G37, but it sounds like the dealer here in Nashville, I assume, gave U the run around. Our cars should Not have this problem cold or hot weather. Another thread suggested stabilizer or swaybar LINKS. What tires do U have? I think a very cold out of round sports tire could be part of the problem until it warms up. Did U use the local Infiniti dealer?
Stelth210, whats the latest with ur car?

It's definitely not the tires. It did it with the stock Bridgestones, Michelin PSS and now the Nitto's.

Hey guys, I know this is an old thread but I am experiencing the same problem and I am dying to know to cause of it. Since the thread is dead, I am assuming that some of you found the cure for it and did not continue to investigate the issue any further. I greatly appreciate any input. I have found 3 different threads regarding the same issue, so I will post this reply to each one of them. So, do not rant if you see the same post. I am just trying to reach out to as many people as I can.
I live in Arkansas and it does not get that cold up here in there mornings yet. Every morning when it is below 70 F, I hear that pop and it feels like the steering wheel jerks slightly, after I backed up the car from the drive and turn right. In addition to that feeling and popping sound, I have a very loud humming noise which increases with acceleration. Plus I have a knocking sound that I think is coming from the passenger side (rear or front) that when I go over slight dips. It does not happen at speed bumps or turns, only at dips. The dealership "listened to the wheel with a stethoscope" but they could not find the issue because my tires are "cupped and loud". Although I could not picture this in my mind, I did not argue with him. I appreciate any valid input rather than could be this could be that. TIA.

The last couple winters here in San Antonio have been quite mild, so I haven't experienced the sound recently. Unfortunately, I still haven't found, or heard from anyone else what causes this issue that affects so many of these cars.
