08 G37s Adaptive Front lighting System (AFS) only works on one side ?

Hi guys new to the forum. I'm not to sure my self if my headlights on my G37 is working properly or not. I notice that only the right side projector works when I steer my wheels to the right, but when I steer to the left my projectors barely moves.

Thanks in advance

Normal. The left side headlight does move but only a very little bit so as to avoid blinding oncoming traffic. congrats on being in the very small minority that sprang for the Tech Pkg.

Not at all. It looks weird when you see the right turn so much but not the left. Also the left only turns a few degrees and only when the car is moving beyond a certain speed, maybe 15 or 20 MPH (someone correct me if I'm wrong on that) so you don't notice it visually like you do when you are parked in front of a wall and see the right one turn 15 degrees to the right as you turn the wheel.

I thought the left headlight only moves when you are traveling faster than 18mph...this is a precaution so it won't blind incoming drivers when you're stopped at a light and turn your steering wheel to the left. I have the tech package in the sedan and that's what happens as stated in the manual.

The right headlight will swivel no matter what speed your car is at.

Do the 2011's do this too? Haven't noticed and didn't see anything about it in the manual.

Yes I do have the premium/tech/nav package.

Unless you have the feature turned off, it should work in a 2011 I think.

I believe the AFS is available on the new Q but was dropped on the 2010 G's
