Self Diagnosis in Nav Screen

So, earlier today, I was at my friend's house and we went into the self diagnosis menu on his car just for fun. CAN_COMM_CIRCUIT 39 popped up on his screen, along with some iPod integration error. The iPod integration issue is self explanatory, but we had no idea what CAN_COMM_CIRCUIT 39 meant. We narrowed it down to either the throttle sensor or an error in the nav screen itself.

Any help regarding this?

Much appreciated!

The 39 in the error code is a counter. It keeps track of the numbers of times that the system has detected the error. The limit is 39. Once an error has occurred more than 39 times, it just stays at 39.

Can_COMM error could a lot of different things. What symptoms or problems does your friend have?

Nothing, just a TPMS light from no sensors... Could it be counting that error?

We also test fit the Sprint booster in his car and got a SES light. We uninstalled it after like 10 minutes and reset the ECU to get rid of the light.
