Help compressor keeps going on and off

compressor keeps going on and off
Working on a 2008 g37s compressor keeps coming on and off at random and the air keeps blowing cold then hot mostly hot when ac is set to 60.
Just started happening recently checked the ac system and its holding steady at 55 psi and no leaks were detected under uv light.
Any suggestions on what could be causing this?

Could be a seized AC clutch but I don't think with it being a 2008 that it would be an issue. Did you spray water under the hood or anything? Could also be something electrical but I have no idea how the climate control sensors work...

My 2009 (had it 3 weeks) does it too. I am sitting at a red light in the HOT TEXAS HEAT! Then, all of a sudden, it starts blowing out hot air.
I have read some posts that it might be the compressor or something liek that, turning off (when ti isn't supposed to). i think it is a known issue. I might talk to dealer about it Friday when I go in for Tranny reprogram and NAV update
