Nissan Quality Guard Extended Warranty Issue/Thoughts
I am a new G owner and picked up a lightly used 2009 G37XS Sedan from a local Nissan dealer around 11/17/2011. Since the vehicle had less than 20k miles they offered the Nissan Quality Guard +Plus that would be a full extension for 100k additional miles, and 7 yrs (so coverage goes until 11-17-2018, and 115,261 miles).
The finance manager called me via phone on this deal and originally the price was $2600 which was for a $0 deductible plan. Ended up paying $1450. Got the terms in mail just yesterday and it says $100 deductible. I have a copy of the "Application" which clearly does not have a deductible of any amount selected. So I emailed the the finance manager, he has replied 2x and is basically saying 1. They don't do $0 deductibles (and even said they don't have one) 2. My "Application" was just that - not the actual contract and that "Nissan Accepted it at $100 deductible. So of course I am a little ticked but at the same time I do suspect this is a good deal - just not what I thought it was. He is basically saying either take it as is or he can cancel for me and get my $1450 back.
Since its Saturday of course Nissan Consumer Affairs is closed.
So my questions:
1. Does anyone know if it is in fact true there is no $0 deductible option on this plan?
2. Anyone have an opinion on whether the $1450 is in fact a good deal?
3. Does anyone have experience with this Quality Guard Plus warranty and ever had issues servicing direct thru Infiniti (clearly I know Infiniti is part of Nissan).
4. I've emailed a company on the Elite plan to see what pricing they would offer to extend. Anyone have some prices on getting the Elite plan for 7 yrs and no deductibles for a car with now 17.5k miles?
Thanks in advance!

To the OP, before you get too far ahead, make sure the nissan warranty will actually cover your infiniti product. I'm not saying it won't, and although nissan/infiniti are arms of the same company, I recall reading that nissan service will not work on infiniti's unless there's unusual circumstances.

I would stay far away from Nissan dealers. I've always found them a bit shady and I've read someone with a similar situation as yours. I would definitely dump the warranty and then get one straight from Infiniti.
Go to EliteProtectionPlan.com (they're the infiniti dealer from scottsdale, az). Courtney usually handles it. There's no BS fees that I've found other infiniti dealerships keep adding on when I was looking through it. They gave me the best price!
It's basically down payment for 10% and to finance it a fee of 10 dollars a month. Other places I've talked to did a fee as well and had a 25% down payment for only 11 months term.
Just check it out!
