Problem low-tone noise, any advices?
Hi,
I purchased 2011 G37x on Monday. When I drive it 60-70mph and over, I'm hearing another kind of noise (not engine, not wind, and not road noises). It sounds somewhat like a low-tone woofer sound (like a resonating, amplified low sound?). It seems coming from the front of the car, but not exactly sure. By the way, there is no vibration on the steering wheel, so maybe it is not the tires.
I had two other people in my car to see if they also notice this noise. Both people noticed it. I've owned Nissan Maxima 2000 and never heard this kind of noise for 12 years.
What possibly have caused this noise, and any advices on resolving this issue? Thank you in advance,

Thank you for your reply. But I hear the noise with the audio, heating/air conditioning systems turned off, too. Are there any other potential causes for this noise? And will it be possible to return, switch cars at the dealership if this is not fixable? Thank you,

Does it sound kind of like a ghost "wooooo" sound?
I get some weird sound when accelerating. I can't hear it at speed, but I can def hear it when accelerating. I think my problem is a grounding issue.

there is a tsb for this concern, they rec u take out the rear driveshaft and flex all around the joint that attaches to the rear diff, then replace with new bolts, noise gone!!
done it for multiple customers and all report the noise is gone
