A window with a mind of its own.

Over about the last month, I've noticed that my driver's side window doesn't like to roll up. If it's down and I use auto up feature it goes all the way up, then back down half way. If I try it again, it will go up and stay there. I've flipped through the FSM but didn't see anything in there about that being a warning sign of some setting being off, but I could have missed it. It doesn't do it every time I roll up the window; only about every third or fourth time. It's strangely inconsistent. Anyone have any ideas as to what may be the issue?

I'd suggest trying a window reset and seeing if that fixes the problem.

Tried that, but it never hurts to try it again. It's simple to do.

Common problem on nissan vehicles. My maxima and my friends 07 g35 had the same problem. The dealership replaced the window motor to fix the problem.

Really? I'll have to look into that. I wonder if a Nissan dealership can do it or if I'd need an Infiniti. I did notice while I was resetting them, that the driver's side goes up a little slower than the passenger.
