I have the 2008 g37s coupe and around 40000km started making that popping noise from the front dash area only over bumps. I did some research thinking it was my cowl where the windshield sits. I was wrong I brought it to Infiniti under warranty and solved it by replacing the front left and right stabilizer rods. The receipt showed to much play on stabilizer rods. Hope this will help anyone.
