G37x 2009 - What is the small elliptical light in the overhead panel near the moonroof controls?? It is in many diagrams in the owners manual but I can not find a description.

Please use the search function as this has been answered many times before. It's an ambient LED light that shines down on the center dash.

yeah to echo both of these guys...

1) search or you'll get eaten alive
2) you're new so it's kind of ok
3) it's just an ambient light to shine on the washi accents and give a slight "mood" to the interior when it's dark
