Evaporator Core

Does anyone know where the evaporator core is located on our cars? I need to get it cleaned because of a bad musty smell coming from my vents. Thanks in advance

I think it's next to the flux capacitor.

lol jk. Have you tried changing the incabin micro filter? That can usually be the problem.

Yeah, I tried both the regular cabin filter and the charcoal one. I was told the smell is coming from the evaporator core because I would always drive around in recirculation mode

Evap Core is typically inside the ventilation plumbing usually just above the blower motor. Not sure how you can clean it without major disassembly of the lower dash. Maybe there are spray products that you can use but would have to at lease remove the cabin filter to be useful.
