Where can I find Pennzoil Platinum 5 quarts jug?

Besides Walmart (it's kind of far), where can I find a big jug of Pennzoil Platinum? I looked at Autozone and Advance Auto Parts and they didnt have it.

In addition, the specification requires 5.2 quarts so I bought 6 bottles of the 1 quarts... is this what everyone else is doing? What do you do with the leftover? I'm thinking you would use it to top off any oil consumption.

Walmart is the only retailer I know of with the 5 qt jugs. From what I remember, they have an exclusive deal to carry the 5qt jugs. I, too, use Pennz Platinum and get my 5 qt jugs from Wally World....so it might be worth the drive to buy 4-5 jugs (enough for a year) and be done with it. Otherwise, buy the individual quarts.

As far as it being 5.2 quarts, I usually just fill with a 5 qt jug, and my oil line always hits the "full" mark. I figure there's at least .2 qt of oil in the engine/drain pan since I don't let mine drain all night like some grease monkeys do. So 5 qt should be fine. Just keep an eye on the level and add as needed.

Cheers!

+1 to above.

5Q jug from Walmart is the best deal. Haven't seen our weight anywhere else. Autozone has 10w-30 pennz plat but no 5w-30.

I bought a 5Q jug + 1Q and had my change done at the dealer. They gave me back the 1Q unopened. As long as you check your levels and regularly I think the 5Q should get you in the normal range, and the .2 or whatever you have left should just be for topping off occasionally.

hmm.... i think it's great although i really can't tell the difference lol. I hear the knocking noise once in a long while so I will be trying out Pennzoil Ultra in a couple weeks (supposedly it has Ester in it).
