There is a reset procedure in the owners manual. Basically roll down the window then when roll it up keep holding the button about 15 seconds or so. Again, exact details in the owners manual. Sounds like a bad battery if you can jump and it runs.

groundwire kit

I installed groundwire kit couple months ago. Can that drain the battery? Since it is the only electrical wire I installed.

i dont even have the grounding kit and my batt failed me 5 times already ,, i dont think its the Grounding kit personally,, try to go to autozone for a free evaluation of your battery if you dont want to go to the dealership and remove your mods,, if ever you will go to them , i suggest you remove the GK... after the dealership recharged my batt, it hasnt failed me ,,,YET

Unlikely. Just take the battery to auto parts store in your area that will check it for free. Some even check it in the car. That is easier than taking all your mods off if you are worried about your dealer.

I think

Since recharging the battery I have no issue with the battery for two days. I think it is becoz I left some lights on or something.

happened a day after I installed the intake. Kind of freaked me out. But now I think it is okay. Starting to enjoy the new intake.

My first battery lasted about 9mo. It would not hold charge but for a few days and then I would not be able to start the car. The dealer exchanged it for a new one free. The second one had the same problem after a few months so I used a battery trickle charger if I knew it would sit for a few days. After about 18 months, that battery crapped out. Quite a few in the G35 forum have had poor life from their Infiniti batteries.

I've had this happen to my G37, move the car after sitting for a while. In the cold...and turn it off, come back a bit later and it won't start, cranks with gusto but won't catch, sputters a couple of times.

This is a flooded cold engine, to start it, hold down the accelerator to floor and try to start, it will sputter initially but should start if flooding was the problem, engine will smooth out in a minute or so....
