Gas tank not filling up and Est. disstance f'd

He guys. I am in Russia right now and My wife is home drin=ving the G. Last 3 times she went to fill it up it would not fill up all the way. only 3/4 or so and click off. I know some have had this issue and was wondering if the dealer fixed it. Also her Distance to empty is way out saying she has 600km when the gage is showing 1/2 tank. I want her to take it too the dealer but want to tell he what to expect. I don't get back until the 28th of may and would like to see this fixed before i come home. Any thought or similar issues?

This has happened to me several times too. Not very consistently and can't reproduce it or anything, but maybe once every 2-3 months it'll just refuse to be filled. I thought it was the pump, but it has happened at different pumps at different types of stations. Very strange...

Happened to me once or twice. The last time I stopped the pump, removed the nozzle and played the the nozzle position a little after putting it back in and it was good to go.

I had it for a period of time.. but the problem went away now

Try different pump station. It appears that it's cuz I use the same pump at the same gas station, I suspect it's the speed of flow of the pump that's causing it

Pulling up an old thread. Did you have any resolution to this issue? I am having the same problem with my car where it will only fill to about 3/4 or 7/8 but not all of the way. It has happened the past three straight times and all using different gas stations. I will ultimately take it in under warranty, but I'd love to hear of a resolution before I do.

I had this problem and it was covered under warranty. Something about where the sensor was positioned it was splashing the gas nozzel once it got filled to a certain point and making it think it was full and shut off. I think they just move the piece and problem is fixed.

Same here, one of the sensors went bad. Replaced it under warranty. I fill up to full now.
