Firestone Oil Change
Hey, lol i know i know ive been so lazy i just go to Fire stone to get my oil changed. I had a Z b4 and took way better care of it with royal purple and mobil 1. Im gonna shapen up but i was wondering have i dont any damage to my car ive done about 12k so 4 oil changes from Fire Stone. Also if i change my own oil how would the dealers know i changed the oil because im leasing the car so on contract you gotta have proof that you went through with your maitenance. thanks in advance

you dont have to have proof on anything. if you lease and the car comes back the same way you got it your fine. wear and tear is normal. i leased my car and own another one. its fine. they cant charge you for anything or say no to any warenty work

Well, I think if you return your car and everything's fine, then they don't require proof of maintenance. However, if your engine blows, and you want them to cover it under warranty, then they want to see that you've done all the oil changes and stuff. If the car's problem can be linked directly to your neglect, then the can void the warranty for that reason. I mean, makes sense. They don't want to cover every car that has been abused and hasn't had an oil change for 50,000 miles.....
