Help Automatic Drive Positioner

Automatic Drive Positioner
How come my Infiniti G37s (fully loaded) does not have this function? I was reading the manual and it stated:
"This system is designed so that the driver's seat and steering column will automaticlly move when the automatic transmission selector lever is in the P (Park) position. This allows the driver to get into and out of the driver's seat more easily. Note that the fuction is set to disabled as the factory default setting."
I tried to do exactly what the instruction stated to activate this fuction, but had no luck. Can anybody please help? Thanks

Damn, I think it would be a sweet function to have. But you have a point regarding the person in the back seat. They should at least leave the function of the automatic steering wheel moving up as you open the door and move back down into position as you start the engine like the Lexus.

That's not such a bad idea. I am currently using that method.
