Bottomed Out
Well my dumbass bottomed out yesterday pretty hard. Lucky me my car seems to be leaking oil, only after immediate shutoff, and while the car is on. Overnight it didnt drip. Any ideas? Yes I am dropped on teins...

cracked oil pan...when the oil pressure goes up after you have your car on as well as the temperature, it becomes hotter and more "liquid" like..this is all IMO, not fact. Get it checked bro

Check your oil pan... Might've cracked it at the drain plug or something.. Check the plug too... Might be the oil pressure that's making it leak only when turned on... Pretty fuggin crappy nonetheless... Let us know man...

if they assess that the cause of the problem was because your vehicle is lowered, probably not. But you could try to argue that it could have potentially happened to a stock G37. Just keep in mind though warranty will cover stuff that fails under normal operation, this is more of driver error, and an impact cause the failure, not the part itself.

H-techs...I really dont even want to talk about it because if I do Ill be at city hall tommorow comitting some bad crimes. This city has the worst roads on planet earth and it makes me want to puke my ****ing brains out.. The potwholes, the blind ****ing school bumps, the ****ing dipping road. **** THIS CITY. Im just trying to figure out what I can do now... I dont want to drive the car because I dont want to seize the engine. My dipstick does read good oil levels but I am still afraid to drive anywhere. There is a shop literally down the block from my house I might drive there and see what they say. What do you think?

Yep. Get it up on a lift.
My dealer does performance mods(with warranty) and I had them install my H-Techs and align as I knew I would probably be where you are at today. At least they won't look at me cross-eyed when I drive in with an oil trail. Sorry about your predic...

It also depends though Alex how you hit and what angle you're at. I've bottomed out a few times already, worst case being the time I shifted the mid-pipe a bit but Jet fixed that by pulling it down really hard, but most of the time I check and see what exactly I've scraped and it's always the part that connects the y-pipe to the mid, the bracing, or our fat a$$ Graddy cans. At least I haven't put a hole into my y-pipe like Geoff did (knock on wood) LOL.
