I went with the flat black as well, I really like them with the contrast of the BO paint...

Its easy if you have enough time to do it. So once you find the paint you want, bake them and prep the housing well. Sand the chrome, do a couple coats of prime, and then a couple coats of paint and then clear coat. I didnt do clear on the flat black, just to keep it as flat as possible.

Remember to SEAL the headlights well...i may have to spend another day baking. hmmm I smell cookies!

if you want gloss theres no way to get it glossy from a spray can no matter how hard you try. your best bet is getting a shop to spray it and then add a clear coat. only way to get that shine. if you want flat black i guess you could spray from a can if you want to DIY but i wouldnt at least not for the headlights god forbid the paint runs or something your screwed because of the contours and stuff of the headlight

Wezbian, your car looks nice.

Can you post a pic of a front view of 1 headlight without rain?

Is it possible to rub alcohol all over the chrome housing and then paint? I've seen this in my Honda Civic CTR DIY's.....

I still want to see pics of the black chrome, anyone know who is getting them done (if he's even on the board)?
