Hey everyone! Yesterday I was driving and the oil/oil filter maintenance alert appeared. Since I got my oil change about 1k miles ago, I don't need it done just yet. I turned off the light by hitting the double square button above the cluster. Every time I start the car it appears and its getting annoying! I went into Info and turned off all maintenance reminders and STILL it appears when I start the car. What else can I do to have this STOP!?

I am not sure how to reset it. I might be in the manual so I would check there. The dealership reset mine when I got my oil changed. You might also want to try an ECU reset but I don't know if this will take that light away.

Yeah i never look in that manual. Good thought, it's gotta be in there.

You can reset the maintenance reminder either from the instrument cluster display or the navigation screen. keep clicking the double box button to find the maintenance option and choose to reset it. OR you can turn it off.

I had to reset mine in both locations (dash & nav), after resetting the dash the damn thing was still coming on, so I did a reset from the nav and that did the trick.
