Whats the perfect rpm

to get the perfect take off? I never drove it be4 just drove it today.. my first take off was perfect.. Then once people got behind me my lil bro was talking n gettin me nervous i stalled. I also get nervous bc its so freakin loud, i was with my dad so i didnt want to rev up to high and shot out and then he would think im trieng to race or w.e.. So whats the perfect launch, around what rpm? Im going out tommrow morning and most likely get it down pat. But iit giving me a good rpm would make life easierr..

Don't listen to that previous post. Since you're a beginner, I'd try and at least aim for 1500 RPM. Ideal is around 1000 RPM, or as I like to think, the point where your take off sounds just like an automatic. Just think of stepping on the throttle as you would an egg, applying just enough pressure without breaking the shell (haha sorry best analogy i can come up with right now). You'll figure it out soon enough.

Just be careful driving a car with this kind of power. It ain't an M5, but you can just as easily hurt yourself or worse...I just read the entire M5 forum thread about the 18 yr old who took 4 other lives with him. It can just as easily happen to anyone on this forum, so I urge you to be safe.

Other than that, congrats, and enjoy your new ride.

If you want to get really good with clutch control go to an empty parking lot and try starting not only in 1st gear but trying perfecting starting off in second. Its harder to get the car moving but it gives you more foot control. also whats with everyone thinking this car is so loud? lol Its really not loud at all....
