Time to say Good Bye

Hi Folks

I am soon going to part away with 2009 G37 4 door journey. I managed to put on 145k. Not too bad comparing it's almost 15 years old. It's been a great ride, both ups and down. Mostly up, i would say. As many of you probably experienced few bumps along the ownership and no car is service and foolproof. Here comes Tesla Y as worthy replacement.. actually my wife will be driving that, and I will be taking over Sienna van as my daily commute. Haha.
My mentality has been, I want to keep my g37 until it dies... but I am like why do I need to do that. Let someone else take over and drive and have fun.

When gas is pushed, the car still revives like a brand new car and beats almost every other car out there. All good things must come to end.. and now time has come until no more.

Did you buy that new? That's an impressive run.

I surely did. I joined this forum shortly after in Aug 2009.

Good luck to you. I also bought my '09 G37xS new and still haven't found anything I like better. Yes, I've driven new EVs and other IC cars on a regular basis, but the performance/luxury bias of the G37 still makes it my choice. Between that and the durability of this particular Infiniti model, I don't see any reason to change. Unless EV infrastructure, battery technology and cost concerns get addressed, EVs remain a work in progress IMO.

It's truly been a long "journey" for you. I wish you the best. Sometimes it's a good thing to move on to something new!

Impressive run!

What's your first mod to the minivan?

I feel the itch coming. You can't escape it.
