2012 g37 sedan w/ P0106 (MAP)
My 2012 g37 sedan has constantly had P0106 (MAP error) for the last 7 or 8 years.
If i unplug the battery or clear codes with a scanner it usually comes back within 50-100 miles and is listed as a 'permanent' error in the scanner (hich I think has to do with emissions so you can't cheat the system by clearing it out)w
I replaced the MAP sensor with a new OEM Nissan/Infiniti sensor and same problem.
I'm aware there is a TSB for it (https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/20...92775-9999.pdf) so had dealership apply latest ECU program. I'm happy I did it because the car shifts completely differently (100% improvement in transmission shifts ... much firmer and no more sluggish/hunting) but no change in the MAP error.
I've looked at all the vacuum hoses and don't see anything obvious. My fuel trims are +/- 3%, idle throttle TPS is normal and MAP readings seem normal at idle, so it doesn't feel like a vacuum leak.
I have an appointment at a shop to vacuum leak test it but just curious if there's anything else I could check beforehand?

Still chasing the MAP gremlin.
I brought it to a shop who tested for vacuum leaks, found none. They drove it around and agreed all the scanner readings seem normal.
What I think I've observed though is if I clear out the code, it never comes back while driving, it only seems to come back during startup.
Car drives and idles fine and shows no issues at all, so I'm at a loss of what to do next, other than just live with it?

Just for anybody who comes across this, I ended up replacing all the evap hoses (as they were hard as rocks and just popped off their barbs) and cleaned the throttle bodies off the car. When I put it back together it had a wicked idle hang, telling me the computer was really keeping them open. I reset the idle, hang went away, and P106 hasn't come back yet.
So I think a possible cause could be dirty throttle bodies - a bunch of youtube videos confirmed that a P106 can come from dirty throttle bodies.

The EVAP system is a maze of hoses. Which did you replace?
I just battled the P0441 gremlin and found the rotted hose noted in this thread: https://www.myg37.com/forums/g37-sed...tem-error.html
All the other hoses look fine, but this one hose looked like it had aged 20 years beyond the others.
Curious to know about the EVAP hoses you replaced.
