Top Speed vs Megan Racing Y-Back Exhaust?

Silly question but I really can't find the differences between the two y-back exhausts. Megan Racing seems to be a 3 inch y back while Top Speed is 60mm? Otherwise they look identical?

I feel like it would be safer to go with the Megan Racing setup so I can use their y-pipe for a perfect fit.

How's the drone and volume on these setups? I'm planning on getting Fast Intentions RHFC this summer to replace my test pipes, whichever is quieter and better built I'd prefer. This exhaust will get pounded with salt in the winter.

I'd go for the Invidia Q300 but I'm currently tuned and I don't want to go with a diameter that small, not to mention pretty heavy. I'll obviously get a retune when I bolt up whatever I get with HFCs, but the q300 just isn't for me.

Im running the top speed with a megan y pipe, with FI RFCH and its a perfect fit as well. There is virtually no drone at all, maybe a tiny bit at certain RPMs, but you hardly notice it. Not crazy loud, but louder than stock and really screams above 5k. Not too raspy either. As a daily it feels amazing, loud enough to have fun, but not so loud that it's obnoxious.

Best way I can describe it is a much deeper and 'gruntier' sound than stock.

Interesting, what size Y pipe? Surely it's an older smaller design if it fits the Top Speed perfectly? And how has it all held up? I'd go Megan but I assume it would be louder and deeper if it's a larger diameter.

Pretty sure it's 2.5". The RHFC made more of a sound difference than the ypipe did. Holding up fine, 4+ years with Canadian winters and lots of salt. Obviously some surface corrosion, but it's just surface. One thing I should mention is use z1 gaskets, not the ones that come with the exhaust/ypipe.

That makes more sense, I re-read the listing and it’s 2.5 inlets, 3in. Flange size. So it should be fine then. I just wonder what the sound difference is if they look identical but ones slightly larger.

Also good to hear, they use endless amounts of salt where I live and my year old, current exhaust is already rusting in weird spots.
