slip, VDC off and airbag lights on
I have a 09 g37X with 135k miles I'm getting ready to sell and of course the clock spring goes out! I get a used one everything works except these lights are on now. I install a brand dew one and again I have these lights. I tried a different steering angle sensor and still the same issue. Am I missing something to get the slip, VDC off and airbag lights off?

Any codes pop up?
usually have to reset the steering angle setting after replacing the sensor or clock spring.
You'll need a consult or professional code reader to do that yourself.
or take it to a qualified alignment shop

What led to you having you replace the clock spring? ie. What symptoms led you to believe that it "went out?" These spiral cables, unless snapped, rarely fail so that is a red flag for me.
That said, as you replaced the steering angle sensor (herein SAS) the system lost calibration. You can take the car to any reputable tire/ alignment shop and they can usually set the sensor in a matter of minutes. Some will even do it at "no charge."
The other issue I see, and it is hard to determine, is the C1A14 code. Do you have the regular cruise control or the fancy "Intelligent" system that maintains a set distance? We need to clarify which in order to narrow down the proper checklist.
When time permits, have the SAS recalibrated, reset the codes, and go from there.

The horn and all the steering wheel buttons stopped working and after the clockspring replacement I got all the controls back except the lights never went off.
Yes it does have the technology package with adaptive cruise control that I never use.
Ill take it by the tireshop next for the steering angle sensor.

Interesting. First I have heard of a spiral cable failing under normal use on these cars.
Keep us updated and then we can go from there...

Is there a pattern to the flashing light, for example 1 short, 2 quick flashes, etc. or is it a steady and consistent flash?
Is the B1052 code persisting? If so, then it will get a little tricky in diagnosing.
